Hey Everyone!!
Back with another blog for you all. This will be my third blog post. If you haven’t had the chance, go back to read my first two blogs! I share my story of finding The World Race, as well as testimonies of the Lord working through my life.
These blogs before I leave for the race give you all a glimpse into what life looks like for me. How God is working, what my week looks like, and how I am preparing to leave for missions!
So in this blog I’ll share a quick recap of July.
July has been a wild month. My family spent the week of Independence Day with cousins and friends. It was so good reconnecting with family we don’t see often. The following weeks have been so busy. I have been working a lot, for those of you that don’t know I work for my dad in construction! So lots of prepping, painting, and sanding. I’ve also spent time with friends, and gone to small group at church.
The past two Sundays I had the opportunity to share at my church’s campuses about missions. Seeing the support from my church family has blown my mind. To those of you reading from church, thank you for being so welcoming and kind as I shared my heart for missions!
This past week has shown me God’s faithfulness through everything. My dog passed away last week unexpectedly. Her death hit me hard as I have raised and trained her. She’s my little best friend! But God is good through it all and gave me joy and strength to share on Sunday at church as I mentioned before.
These next few weeks are going to be even MORE crazy, but hopefully more joy filled. My brother and I are leaving for vacation with my grandparents today! The day we get back from vacation we leave for a trip into the mountains of Colorado. Pair that with preparing to go overseas…it’s a lot! I am so grateful for God’s blessings, and want to share with you some verses that have been on my heart lately.
Psalms 30:5
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Isaiah 53:5-6
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Some things you can pray for:
•Safety on the trips I am taking in the next weeks
•Continued peace and joy
•My team as we get ready to leave!
