Hey everyone! I’m back for my second blog. The past month has been crazy in the best ways. I graduated high school and got to spend time with all my favorite people. The support and love I received from everyone was truly incredible!

I have continued my internship at church on Tuesdays, and got to help lead communion at a nursing home for the second time. The first time we went only 3 people showed up. This last time there was more than 15 people! It’s so cool to see God working on the hearts of people of all ages.

The next thing I jumped into was church camp! I camped for a week and staffed the next week. God didn’t give me any big wow moments this year, and yet it was perfect. I’m learning to know and love the still small whisper of Gods voice. Peace that comes through his word, joy through true worship, and true rest in his presence when physically I was exhausted.

I got to help lead my team to victory at week 1. GREEN TEAM WON CAMP CHAMPS!!!
And got to serve in many capacities at week 2 while staffing. One night I was absolutely exhausted and went to bed early. I cried out to God asking how I am supposed to serve for nine months overseas when I’m so drained after only two weeks of camp in Kansas? But again his peace surpassed my understanding and I slept like a baby.

At camp, the Lord spoke two clear words to me: daily surrender. He showed me that when fear, doubt, or insecurity rise up—or when spiritual attacks come—I’m called to surrender it all to Him every single day. He reminded me that the enemy will keep fighting because I’ve been chosen, and the last thing he wants is for me to walk in my calling. But my part is simple: surrender it, again and again.

So that’s what I’ve been learning—practicing daily surrender. There’s so much more I could share from camp, but I’ll leave it there for now and share more another time. All I can say is this: the Lord is preparing me to go. Each day it becomes more real. I’d love your prayers and support—please be praying over my mind, body, and spirit as I continue to get ready for this next season.
