Hey everyone!

This will be my last blog before I leave the U.S. for nine months. On August 29, Iโ€™ll be flying out of New York with my team of 30, and I canโ€™t wait to take you along on this journey. Thank you so much for joining meโ€”Iโ€™m so grateful you are here!ย

This past month has been a whirlwindโ€”but such a blessing. Iโ€™ve had the opportunity to take several trips with family and friends. I spent time in Missouri with my grandparents, traveled to Colorado with my dad and brother, and went to Florida with some of my best friends(it was my first time there!). Florida is such a beautiful state, and Iโ€™m so thankful I got to experience it with the people I love.

I'm grateful to have learned some lessons on theseย  trips. Here are a few:

  1. Pack Less Than You Think!
I packed less and less on each trip. This is helping prepare me for when I head overseas! And let go of my love for clothes๐Ÿ˜†

  2. The Value of Community.
Every trip was differentโ€”different people, different placesโ€”but what made them special was the community I had with the people I went with. It makes me excited to connect with my team and build a Christ-centered community as we serve in missions. ๐Ÿค

  3. Guarding My Time With God.
Even though I was surrounded by amazing people and experiencing Godโ€™s creation, being away from home made it harder to be intentional about spending time with the Lord. These trips reminded me that, while overseas, time with Jesus must come first. So one of my goals is to find a rhythm and routine in the beautiful chaos of missions! ๐ŸŒ

Cherishing Every Moment

This past week has been filled with so many sweet memories with family and friends. From coffee dates, painting nails with little girls, and last movie nights with my siblingsโ€”every moment has been a blessing. Iโ€™ve noticed saying goodbyes makes it even harder to leaveโ€ฆbut man am I grateful to have such amazing people to say bye too!ย

Prayer Request

As I wrap up this blog, Iโ€™d love to ask for your prayersโ€”for me and for my team. Please pray for peace, rest, and safety as we meet and begin the greatest adventure of our lives.โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒ

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I canโ€™t wait to share what God does in the months ahead!๐Ÿ˜„
